Garner's place of work. Much smaller than he is used to, plus very much quieter.

A couple of days ago Garner and I were heading into the subdivision when the traffic slowed to a stop. Up ahead were three families of baby geese and maybe 4 adults......crossing the road to get to this pond. They had come out of a wooded area across the street. Apparently this is a daily routine for the moms and babies. Have not seen the babies in the water, but they do like to sun on the warm sidewalk. But it is a real family outing. Spring is in the air and they are loving it and so are we.....

This a picture of my "tween" great granddaughter Ashlynn. This was taken on Easter. She cut her bangs herself under the supervision of her mom. Have no idea who straightens her hair, as it is so very curly and she always wears it in a pony tail. This makes her look much older, about 3 or 4 years older.
"But Ashlynn, please don't grow up to quick. Enjoy being a kid, because once you are grown, you can't go back".
She is as sweet as she looks.

Does anyone know what this sign is for? It is the absolute best hamburger any where in the USA (except for my husband's on the grill) Whataburger started in Corpus Christi, TX and has found it's way into other states. California needs to take lesson from them. In and Out does not hold a candle to Whataburger. But here in Kentucky where we live now, they have not a clue to Whataburger or In and Out. Just the main chains adn that is too bad. WE MISS OUR WHATBURGERS!

Just a few pix of my gold fish after a bout with an algae problem (brown algae). Tank is looking pretty good and hope it stays that way.
I have five in tank now. One Comet, two Ryukins and two Orandas. All are young. The Comet is a feeder fish that actually escaped
being a feeder fish and grew too large to sell for fish food. We bought him for 12 cents and named him 12 cents. The others are not named. The Oranda that has black on him/her was all gold when we got him. He is slowly changing colors and that is ok. I like his coloring. The other Oranda may be changing also. With the algae problem we had, I wanted to send them all back to the store, but we got the kinks ironed out and problems solved and now all is better. You can still see algae on rocks and leaves, but was told that is ok and is heathful.
